As the football team showcases its 2011 team talent and the softball squad squares off against Oklahoma on ESPN, the Missouri soccer team plays its final game of the spring against Iowa. The match, slated for 10 a.m. at Walton Soccer Stadium, kicks off a weekend of events for the program.
“We have a fun-filled weekend that will not only pay tribute to our past season but also give back to the community,” head coach Bryan Blitz said. “Our team banquets are an absolute blast and are a great way to close the season.”
The Tigers pulled out a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Memphis last weekend to notch their second win of the spring season. Iowa is coming off wins against Illinois State, Drake and Nebraska.
