COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Missouri wrestling team will host a Media Day on Monday, March 14 before they head to Philadelphia, Pa., for the 2011 NCAA Championships. The event will take place at 3:30 p.m. CT in the Hearnes Center Media Room, located on the event level. This will give media outlets an opportunity to talk to head coach Brian Smith and the team prior to the NCAA's.

Missouri is sending a program-best nine grapplers to this year's NCAA Championships. The Tigers finished in second place last weekend at the Big 12 Championships.

Freshman 125 pounder Alan Waters, senior 141 pounder Todd Schavrien and junior heavyweight Dom Bradley will all be available for comment. Media will have access to any of Missouri's other six qualifying wrestlers, but are encouraged to make arrangements ahead of time with Media Relations Associate Steven Keers (keerss@missouri.edu) to ensure their availability.
