COLUMBIA, Mo. - University of Missouri head women's basketball coach Robin Pingeton will be inducted into the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union's (IGHSAU) Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday, March 4.

The three-person class, which was announced on Friday, also includes Mary Berdo, who played prep basketball at Washington High School and collegiately at Iowa, and Nicky Wieben, an Ankeny native who played at Iowa State.

Pingeton, formerly Robin Becker, played for Benton Community and Cedar Rapids Jefferson from 1983-86, where she twice was named a Mississippi Valley Conference selection. She then went on to play at St. Ambrose in Davenport, where she was a three-time NAIA All-American and remains the school's all-time scoring and rebounding leader.
