COLUMBIA, Mo. – The nationally-ranked Missouri softball team has announced their 2011 summer camps.  The program will offer two camps, one running from June 14-16 for ages 8-13 and the other running from June 21-23 for ages 14-21.

The Development Camp (June 14-16) will feature instruction on all areas of the game for campers aged eight to 13, which includes hitting, fielding, base running, pitching and catching.  Campers will also be taken on the Mizzou campus for other various activities.

The Tiger Camp (June 21-23), for those aged 14-21, will feature the same instruction and activities as the Development Camp, though campers will also have the option of focusing on specific defensive positions.  There will also be presentations on both academic requirements for college-bound student-athletes and athletic recruiting, and Mizzou players will also host a question and answer session for the campers.
