Columbia, Mo. - The Missouri women's swimming and diving team returns to their home turf and Big 12 Conference competition this weekend, as they take on Iowa State at the Mizzou Aquatic Center Saturday, January 22 at 1 p.m.

In their last outing, the Tigers fell to No. 14 Minnesota, the highest-ranked opponent they have faced this season. The team stands 1-0 in conference competition, however, as they soundly defeated the Kansas Jayhawks (165.00-129.00) in the M&I Bank Border Showdown back on Oct. 29. In that meet, the Tiger women won 11 events en route to their sixth consecutive victory over the Jayhawks, and they look to continue that conference success this Saturday.

This is Iowa State's first meet of the semester. In their last competition, they lost to a talented Iowa squad, 173.00-108.00.

Mizzou fans are encouraged to come to the Aquatic Center to cheer on their Tigers in their first home meet of the new year. Admission is free, and the meet will begin at 1 p.m.
