Columbia, Mo. - Missouri Basketball continues its charge through Big 12 Conference play and Tiger fans have responded enthusiastically, selling out the team's next three home games of the 2010-11 season.
Missouri's home contests vs. Iowa State (Jan. 22), Colorado (Feb. 5) and Oklahoma (Feb. 12) are all sold out and only a limited number of tickets remain for the remainder of the home season. Tiger fans looking to make their way to Mizzou Arena are encouraged to consider the Feb. 15 contest vs. Texas Tech as tickets for the Feb. 23 contest vs. Baylor are rapidly moving towards sellout status as well. If tickets to the March 5 showdown with Kansas are available, they will go on sale Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. via mutigers.com only.
Mizzou Basketball is currently on pace to break a Mizzou Arena attendance record in 2010-11. The previous home-game average was 10,349 set last season and Missouri's attendance increase could top 20 percent since Anderson's first season of 2006-07.
Another reminder to Tiger fans is that Saturday's game vs. Iowa State will mark the former player reunion (with a halftime on-court recognition) and the Feb. 12 contest against Oklahoma will feature the introduction of the newest Hall of Fame class at halftime. This game against the Sooners is also the annual Blackout game, so fans are encouraged to show their support by wearing BLACK.
Tickets for Missouri Basketball can be ordered through the Mizzou Athletics Ticket Office online at mutigers.com. They can also be ordered by calling the office at 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in Mid-Missouri) or at Ticketmaster.com.
