Missouri Blanks Houston

Columbia, MO - The University of Missouri women's tennis team (5-8/ 0-2 Big 12) picked up a win over University of Houston (8-6), 7-0, Sunday at the Green Tennis Center in Columbia, Mo. The win becomes Missouri's second straight of the weekend over a winning-record team, the first with a 6-1 win over West Virginia on Friday.

"We want to continue to play the way that we have this weekend," said Head Coach Blake Starkey.

Marking the end of the non-conference portion of this season's schedule, Missouri will continue conference play next weekend on the road at Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
