Three Divers Qualify For NCAA's

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - After having a strong first day, the Tigers seemed poised to continue that trend on Saturday at the zones meet at Texas A&M, and finished with three qualifiers for the national championships in Dante Jones, Greg DeStephen and Jordan Morcom.
Jones and DeStephen qualified on the one-meter springboard, earning two of the three spots open for that event, while Morcom qualified with five others on the three-meter springboard.
Jones had the highest finish of the day for Mizzou, earning a third place finish with 681.25 points, while DeStephen finished with 619.95 points.
Morcom finished sixth on the women's three-meter springboard with 606.50 points on the day, as she was the highest Tiger finisher on the women's side.
Sharon Finn placed 20th overall with 260.30 points, while Abby Zepeda and Christina Gailey finished 22nd and 23rd with 254.60 and 253.95 points, respectively. Dallas Becerra finished 25th overall on the men's side with 215.75 points to round out the Missouri performers.
The Tigers will compete in the final event of the Zone "D" diving meet tomorrow, taking part in the men's and women's combined platform competition tomorrow.
