Columbia, Mo. - Mizzou Basketball will host an open practice prior to Saturday night's college football showdown between the unbeaten Tigers and Oklahoma Sooners.
Practice is set to begin at 2:30 p.m. at Mizzou Arena and is free to the general public. The north doors to the arena will be the best point of entry for fans wanting to catch a glimpse of their nationally-ranked hoops squad before the Oct. 28 Black & Gold Game.
In addition, ESPN's Game Day Radio will be on site at Walsworth Plaza on the north end of the arena. Fans are encouraged to come out and watch from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. as Trevor Matich, Brad Edwards and Ryen Russillo talk about the weekend's top college football match ups.
Missouri Basketball opens its 2010-11 campaign on Nov. 5 with an exhibition contest against Harris-Stowe State. The regular season gets underway on Nov. 18 vs. Western Illinois.
