COLUMBIA, Mo. - For the third consecutive season Missouri Basketball will have a school record number of Big 12 Conference games appearing on national television.
Ten of Missouri's league games will go “National” this season, including ESPN Big Monday tilts with Kansas State (Jan. 17) and at Kansas (Feb. 7), in addition to a CBS contest with the rival Jayhawks at home on March 5.
Missouri will have a total of nine games appearing on the ESPN Family of Networks in Big 12 play. Games at Texas A&M (Jan. 15) and at Oklahoma State (Feb. 2) and home dates vs. Texas Tech (Feb. 15) and Baylor (Feb. 23) will appear on ESPN2 and the Feb. 26 return trip to K-State will either appear on ESPN or ESPN2. Network and game time information for the contest in Manhattan will be finalized at a later date.
Mizzou also has back-to-back games on ESPNU vs. Iowa State (Jan. 22) and at Texas (Jan. 29).
The Big 12 Network will carry four Tiger contests, including the Big 12 opener at Colorado on Jan. 8. Other Big 12 Network games include Feb. 12 vs. Oklahoma, Feb. 18 at Iowa State and March 1 at Nebraska.
Two of Mizzou's conference games were not designated for television by ESPN or the Big 12 Network and have the option to be televised by the Mizzou Sports Network. Game times for the Jan. 12 contest vs. Nebraska and Feb. 5 game vs. Colorado will be available with the release of Missouri's complete television schedule later this summer. Either game date could be adjusted slightly to accommodate television broadcast interests by the network.
