COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mizzou volleyball program has announced the dates and times for its annual elementary school youth leagues. The league begins on Sept. 27 and will run through Oct. 29. It is open to third-fifth graders and costs only $20. Anyone who signs up will receive a free Mizzou volleyball t-shirt, a black and gold Mizzou volleyball and their entire family will receive free admission to a Mizzou volleyball match.
The Youth League is a great opportunity for elementary-aged children to stay active before class as members of the Mizzou volleyball team go to each of the local elementary schools to run clinics with children before class begins. The clinics give children a chance to learn the fundamentals of volleyball all while interacting with their peers and their favorite Mizzou volleyball players. It gives children a chance to learn a lifetime sport while participating in an organized team environment.
Below are the times for each of the local Columbia area elementary schools. Those interested in signing up can visit MUTigers.com for more information.
