Justin Safford is on the mend after off-season knee surgery and the 6-foot-9 forward has made tremendous strides in his rehab and is on his way back for his senior season.

Safford spoke with mutigers.com this week and is not only working on strength training, but is running on the treadmill and is hoping to be cleared for jumping in the near future.
