COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri women's basketball team will participate 11th annual Paradise Jam Nov. 25-27 at the University of the Virgin Islands' U.V.I. Sports and Fitness Center in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, USVI. The Tigers are in the Paradise Reef Division with Georgetown, Georgia Tech and Tennessee. Missouri faces Tennessee in the opening game in the Reef Division on Thursday, Nov. 25 at 6:45 p.m. AST (4:45 p.m. CST).

The Tigers and Lady Vols have faced twice before, with Tennessee picking up wins on Jan. 14, 1978 (101-83) and Dec. 9, 1978 (74-61). Last season, Tennessee advanced to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament before falling to Baylor, 77-62, to end the year with a 32-3 mark.

The Tigers then play Georgetown on Friday, Nov. 26 at 6:45 p.m. AST (4:45 p.m. CST). This will be the first ever meeting between the two schools. Georgetown posted a 26-10 record in 2009-10 and also suffered a season-ending loss at the hands of Baylor, a 49-33 defeat in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Mizzou closes out play with a contest against Georgia Tech on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 6:45 p.m. AST (4:45 p.m. CST) in the first meeting between the Tigers and Yellow Jackets. In 2009-10, Georgia Tech went 23-10 after falling to Arkansas-Little Rock in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Paradise Jam Reef Division is a Multiple Team Event (MTE) tournament. An MTE tournament counts as only two games against a team's annual maximum of 29 games, despite playing three games at the tournament.
