COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri Athletic Department will be holding open tryouts for individuals interested in becoming the public address announcer for football and men's basketball for the 2010-2011 season. The tryouts will be held on Wednesday May 26th at Mizzou Arena. Individuals interested in auditioning must pre-register by contacting Scott Nielson at nielsons@missouri.edu or 573-882-0362 by no later than Monday, May 24th, at 5:00 p.m. No walk-ins will be accepted. Prior broadcasting or public speaking experience, as well as a general knowledge of football/basketball, is preferred but not required.
