For the third-straight season, Missouri senior Julia Potter has been named to the All-Big 12 Conference Team. She was one of 10 student-athletes that earned All-Big 12 recognition.
Potter had six top-10 finishes and five top-five during the 2009-2010 season. She claimed medalist honors in back-to-back tournaments at the Mountain View Classic (March 26-27) and the Lady Rebel Intercollegiate (April 2-4). Potter has placed in the top 10 in each of her last four events, including a fourth-place showing at last weekend's Big 12 Championships. She currently has a stroke average of 73.58, which would set a new school record.
Earlier this week, Potter was one of three individuals selected to the NCAA Central Regional, which will take place in her home state, which will be played May 6-8 at Otter Creek Golf Club in Columbia, Ind.
The 2010 All-Big 12 Team was identified by using the Top 10 highest-ranked student-athletes according to the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings following the Big 12 Championship. The Player and Newcomer of the Year are automatically selected as the highest ranked individuals from the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings following the Conference championship.
