DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The University of Missouri Cheerleaders turned in an impressive performance last weekend at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate Cheer and Dance National Competition, the largest collegiate competition for cheer and dance.

The Mizzou squad finished in fifth place - the highest finish in program history - in the Small Coed Division, The team, coached by Suzy Thompson, finished behind Maryland, SMU, Oklahoma State and Louisville, which won the event. The top-5 finish marks the first in school history and the ninth consecutive top-10 showing at nationals.

The 2010 squad members include: Kristi Beckmann, Megan Cunningham, Ashley Davidson, Stacey DiLullo, Chelsea Evans, Scott Evans, Caitlin Germerouth, Josh Guyette, Hana Hanson, Jenna Hartman, Arin Hennessey, Alex Johnson, Andy Kimmel, Kelsey Mayabb, Meagan McCullick, Austin Newman, Lindsey Oncken, Paige Pauley, Abbie Rickard, Jaclyn Shaw, Kelsey Sicsco, Erin Squires and Kaitlyn Tribble.

Truman the Tiger (represented by Sean Frankenbach, Nathan King, Jacob Kunce, Brian Mallioux and Frank Manda) and Mizzou partner stunt team, Scott Evans and Erin Squires, also represented Missouri proudly at the same competition.
