Hey Tiger Fans!

This past weekend we traveled to Nebraska for the Big 12 Championship and it was a blast. We left on Thursday, had dinner in Kansas City, and then made the rest of the trip up to Lincoln. We had a light practice Friday before the championship meet Saturday.

We have now entered the post-season and being a freshman I had never experienced such a big and publicized meet before, but it was so much fun. Because the meet was televised, there were cameras everywhere and a lot more people than we are used to performing for. The energy was really intense and all the teams were hyped up so it was a really fun, but slightly stressful environment.

We ended up with a solid score and a good meet, even though it wasn't quite enough to win it all. Regardless of the results, we had a great time and came out with a lot of positives from the meet.

This next week is spring break, so no school, which is really exciting. We're back in the gym and working on polishing everything up before regionals.

Regionals is a home meet for us, so come watch your Tigers on April 10 in the Hearnes Center!!
