COLUMBUS, Ohio - The 2010 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships will begin Frdiay at Noon due to a gastrointestinal illness affecting a select number of athletes and coaches who arrived at The Ohio State University on Tuesday. The governing body of college athletics decided that it would be better to begin the championships a day later to insure the safety of all athletes and coaches.

The championships will now begin on Friday at Noon and run until Sunday afternoon. Patrons who bought tickets for Thursday's events will have their stubs honored for the remaining events at the McCorkle Aquatics Center in Columbus.
