Hey Tiger Fans!

After being on the road the two previous weekends, this last weekend we were at home for our last regular-season meet against Centenary College. It was Senior Day, so it was bittersweet night because it was our senior's last regular-season home meet in Hearnes. Knowing that, we were ready to send them out the right way and have a great meet!

We got off to a good start on vault with Becky leading off and scoring a 9.8. The vault rotation stayed strong throughout with everyone scoring a 9.8 or better, and ended with Shi's 9.9. After a shaky start on bars, we came back strong with Allie scoring a 9.8 and Mary scoring a 9.825. We ended the bar rotation with Shi scoring a 9.925. Next we headed to beam. We got to a good start with Brooke leading off and scoring a 9.725. We had a solid beam rotation with Mary and Shi finishing strong with a 9.8 from Mary and a 9.95 from Shi. We ended the night on floor as Alex led us off with an awesome routine scoring a 9.8. D posted a 9.85 and Shi put up a 9.825, while Mary and Lauren both scored a 9.9! It was a very solid rotation and a good way to end the meet!

After the competition was over, it was time to recognize the seniors. We watched a video that was put together full of pictures and videos that progressed from when the girls were little to them now in college. After that they were announced individually to the crowd with their families.

This next weekend we will be heading to Nebraska for the Big 12 Championship. We will be competing Saturday, March 27 at 2 p.m. We have worked very hard this season and are ready to have an awesome meet!

To our seniors: Brooke Boehmer, Danielle Guider, Becky Scholle and Sarah Shire, thank you for an awesome season so far! You girls are amazing and we love you very much! Congratulations on all that you have accomplished in your careers here at Mizzou! You four have done a lot for this program and will be missed next year!!
