WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Kim Jasmer and Jordan Morcom were the first two Tigers to participate in the 2010 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday, with both having strong performances heading into the weekend.

Morcom competed in the 1-meter springboard on Thursday, scoring 254.45 points in the preliminaries to finish in 29th place on the day.

Jasmer took part in the 50 free event, touching the pad in 23.04 seconds to earn a 46th place finish in the morning session.

The Tigers will return to the pool tomorrow morning for day two's events.
