Hey Tiger Fans!

This last weekend we traveled to the University of Illinois for a dual competition with the Illinois and Michigan men's gymnastics teams. It was a fun experience with a lot going on and a big crowd. We were able to focus on ourselves and get our job done.

We started strong on bars, highlighted by D's career high 9.825 routine and Shi's 9.925 routine. We then moved to vault with a slight lead over Illinois. The vault team did their job and kept us in the lead. Alex tied her season high with a score of 9.85, while Shi did a huge vault for a 9.9. Next, we headed to floor. Alex and Tori started us off with a pair of 9.8's. D had a great routine for a 9.825, and Shi finished things up for us with a beautiful 9.875 routine. Lastly, we finished up on beam. After a shaky start, D stepped up with a solid 9.725. We just kept building from here with my 9.775, Mary's 9.8, and Shi's 9.85. After we finished up the meet, we were able to watch some of the men compete while visiting with all the family and friends that came to support us. We then headed back home with another entertaining and fun bus trip!

The season has gone by so fast, and this weekend marks the last regular season meet. We will be competing against Centenary College on Sunday, March 21 at 2 pm. It will be our Senior Night where the four seniors, D, Becky, Shi and I, will be recognized at the end of the meet. I hope to see you all there! GO TIGERS!

Also, congratulations to Sarah Shire for being ranked #1 in the all around! We are all so proud of you!
