Columbia, MO - The Missouri wrestling team (7-7) will host a media day this Monday, March 1. The event will take place in the Hearnes Center media room, located on the event level, at 3:30 p.m. The event will give media outlets an opportunity to talk to the wrestlers and Head Coach Brian Smith before they head to Norman, Okla., to take on their Big 12 opponents.

This year, five Missouri wrestlers will compete in their first Big 12 Championship tournament, while seniors Maxwell Askren and Nicholas Marable seek their third Big 12 individual titles.

The Big 12 Championships will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 6 at the Howard McCasland Field House in Norman, Okla. Championship matches will begin that evening at 7 p.m. Stay tuned to mutigers.com for quotes from the press conference, as well as updates from the Big 12 tournament.
