
Tigers Claim Third-Straight Top-Five

Final Results OXFORD, Miss. - The Mizzou women's golf team finished in fourth place at the Rebel Intercollegiate in Oxford, Miss., claiming its third-straight top-five. The Tigers shot a 303 in Sunday's final round and finished with a three-round total of 913.
Missouri was just one shot behind third-place Oregon State. Tulane won the event with an 889 score, followed by the host school, Ole Miss, who had three-round total of 901.
Junior Julia Potter turned in a 74 on Sunday. She finished in sixth place in the individual standings with a 54-hole score of 223. Potter's 74 tied with senior Chelsea Schriewer for the best round of the day for Mizzou. Schriewer score factored into the team score, but she was not part of the individual competition after having to withdraw from Friday's opening round due to back pain.
Joining Potter in the top ten was junior Michelle Morgan, who carded a 78 on Sunday for a three-round score of 227. Freshmen Hannah Lovelock placed in a tie for 43rd place with a 241 total, while freshman Marissa Cook tied for 53rd spot at 244.
The Tigers will now prepare for the Big 12 Championship, which will be played in Lubbock, Texas April 24-26.
