
Mizzou Picks Up Top-Five Finish at Mountain View Collegiate

TUCSON, Ariz. - Missouri carded a final round 289 on Sunday at the Mountain View Collegiate and finished in fifth place at the Mountain View Classic in Tucson, Ariz. The 289 on Sunday gave the Tigers a three-round total of 885.
Junior Julia Potter recorded the best finish for the Tigers, placing in 12th place. She shot a 73 on Sunday for a three-round total of 218.
Senior Chelsea Schriewer turned in the best round of the day for the Tigers in the third round, carding a one-under-par 70. She finished in a tie for 13th place with a 54-hole score of 219. Freshman Hannah Lovelock shot a 73 in the final round and finished tied for 18th place with a 221 total.
Junior Michelle Morgan tied for 60th place with a three-round total of 231, while freshman Marissa Cook placed in a tie for 76th spot with a235 score.
The Tigers finished just one shot behind fourth-place Indiana. San Jose State won the tournament with a 54-hole total of 866.
Mizzou will play in the Lady Rebel Intercollegiate in Oxford, Miss. April 3-5 before the Big 12 Conference Championships in Lubbock, Texas April 24-26.
