****ANNOUNCEMENT****
As of Jan. 20, 2010, the Free Mizzou volleyball youth clinics are officially full. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause, but due to the large number of RSVPs, we will no longer be admitting additional children to the free youth clinics.
COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou volleyball team will hold a series of free youth clinics for five-straight weeks during the upcoming 2010 winter semester. The clinics will take place each Monday from Feb. 1 - March 1, 2010, inside the Hearnes Center. Each session will run from 6:30-8 p.m. Roughly the first half hour to 45 minutes will be a scrimmage by the Tiger volleyball team during which participating children can watch their favorite Tigers. The next hour will be an instructional clinic that will be put on by the Tiger volleyball student-athletes, teaching the fundamentals of volleyball. The clinic is open to children in grades 3-8.
Parents will need to bring their children to the event floor inside the Hearnes Center arena as it is a drop-in clinic. Parents must also be expecting to fill out paper work when dropping their children off to cover liability issues. Parking for anyone attending the clinics is located at the West entrance of the Hearnes Center (by Memorial Stadium).
People wishing to attend the clinic, musy RSVP to assistant volleyball coach Chris Muscat (muscatc@missouri.edu) by Jan. 25. For all the latest on the Mizzou volleyball youth clinic and the Mizzou volleyball program, stay tuned to www.MUTigers.com.
