IRVING, Texas - After sweeping the 1 and 3-meter diving titles in the Nov 14 dual against Southern Illinois, senior Greg DeStephen (Columbus, Ohio) was named Big 12 Men's Diver of the Week on Wednesday.

It's DeStephen's first conference honor of his career, and first for a Tiger swimmer or diver this year, with the last conference award for a Tiger coming last February when Missouri swept both men's and women's swimmer of the week.

DeStephen swept both events for the first time this year, winning the 1-meter dive with a score of 363.97, 40 points ahead of second place, then claiming the 3-meter dive with a score of 396.15, 90 points better than the second place finisher.

DeStephen and the rest of the Tiger squad will return to the pool next Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the Missouri Invite, held at the Mizzou Aquatics Center.
