Mizzou/Colorado Post-Game Notes
• Mizzou improved to 7-0 at the Hearnes Center this season, their best home start since 2003, when they won their first eight home matches.
• The win was the Tigers' sixth-straight against Colorado and Mizzou's 13th in their past 17 meetings.
• The Tigers posted 11 service aces in the match to increase their season total to 86, tops in the Big 12.
• Junior Catie Wilson (Omaha, Neb.) hit .733 with a career-best 12 kills in the match. Her .733 attack percentage is the ninth-best all-time at Mizzou, tying her with Lindsey Noll, who hit that clip back in 2004 against Nebraska. • With 50 total attacks, junior outside hitter Julianna Klein (Keota, Iowa) passed former Tigers Renee Rosinski and Naaron Branson to move into ninth place on Mizzou's all-time list with 2,751. Klein added 12 digs for her fifth double-double of the season as well.
• Klein also posted a career-high eight service aces, the most by a Tiger this year and an individual Big 12 high for 2009. Her eight aces are also the third-best mark by a Tiger in program history as she ties Stacy Harris, who also hit the eight-ace mark against Colorado back in 1986.
• Senior setter Lei Wang-Francisco (Shanghai, China) played in her 400th career set for Mizzou. She has now played in 402 sets as a Tiger, the most among active players.
• With 23 digs, junior libero Caitlyn Vann (Muncie, Ind.) tied Yvette Buhlig for fifth place on Mizzou's career list. Vann now has 1,149 digs in her career.
• Junior outside hitter Paola Ampudia (Cali, Colombia), the Big 12 Preseason Newcomer of the Year and a two-time Big 12 Rookie of the Week, continued her strong play with 14 kills and seven digs while adding five total blocks.
• Brittney Brimmage (East St. Louis, Ill.) posted six total blocks in the match, tying her season-best mark, set against Texas State in the season-opener.
