Columbia, Mo. - Single-game tickets for each of Mizzou Basketball's non-conference home contests will go on sale on this Tuesday (Oct. 20) at 6 p.m. online only at mutigers.com. Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 8 a.m., tickets will also be available for purchase by calling the Mizzou Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in mid-Missouri) or by visiting the Mizzou Arena ticket office during normal business hours.
The Tigers have a busy non-conference home schedule this season, including the season-opener against Tennessee-Martin on Nov. 17. The club also has games against high-major opponents Oregon (Dec. 4) and Georgia (Jan. 2), an intra-state showdown with UMKC (Dec. 30) and returning NCAA Tournament team Chattanooga (Nov. 24).
Missouri opens practice for the 2009-10 campaign this Friday and will begin two-a-day workouts leading up to the Oct. 23 Black & Gold Game on Homecoming Weekend.
Tip-off for the Black & Gold Game is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Mizzou Arena. Tickets for the event are just $5 and a portion of the proceeds go to support the Boys & Girls Club of Columbia. Doors open at 7 p.m. and members of the Missouri Basketball program will be on the north concourse signing autographs prior to tip-off.
Parking for the Black & Gold Game is free, however fans must move their vehicles before the Oct. 24 football contest against Texas.
Single-game tickets for Big 12 Conference games (with the exception of the March 6 contest against Kansas) will be available for purchase on December 11.
