Hey Tiger Fans!

We just got through our third week of preseason and things are coming along nicely! It was a low week in conditioning, skills and in the weight room with Coach Looney. It was nice to get a break from all the high numbers and let our bodies recover.

Everyone is starting to look really good in the gym! We have a lot of people doing full routines on bars and a lot of people twisting their vaults onto the soft surface. On floor we have continued doing sprint routines and shot gun tumbling. On the shot gun tumbling everyone started doing 1-2-3s. This is where you do your first tumbling pass, run back and do your second one, then run back and do your third one. They can be difficult to do at times, but they definitely build up your endurance and make floor routines a lot easier! On beam, half routines started and by the end of the week we had people doing full routines on beam, and they looked awesome!

On Saturday morning we went and volunteered at the food bank as a team. We were there from 9 - 11 and we sorted some pasta into bags and got them put into boxes and ready to go. It was a pretty fun way to give back to the community as well as bond as a team!
