Head Coach Mike Anderson

Missouri vs. Colorado
On the mindset of the team:
"I'll tell you what, our guys came out and they had the right approach to the game. I thought they came out with a defensive mindset. We got some good guys in foul trouble early on, and I thought our pressure really affected them, not necessarily from the steals standpoint, but it disrupted what they wanted to do."
On starting the second half strong:
"We always talk about the first five minutes of the second half and I thought we came out and continued to execute. We took good shots, we made shots and we shared the basketball. The thing I liked was the focus on the defensive side. Good things were happening on defense. We were rebounding the basketball and guys were moving and cutting."
"I go to home at night and he's the guy I think about the most. He can really help out our basketball team. I think tonight you got to see some of the things he's capable of doing, not only with his scoring ability, but he has tremendous instinct. He's a slasher, finisher, rebounder and a shot blocker.
"I thought Justin came in and played well. He was slashing to the hole and he played with some aggressiveness and toughness. That's what we talked about, aggressiveness and toughness, which you have to have to win in this league, especially on the road."
On the need for a large crowd against Iowa State:
"We need a great crowd here. Our guys get excited, when people are in the stands, our kids get really, really excited. Of course, it presents a problem to our opponents too. It rattles our opponents. Tiger fans, this is coach saying `Hey, come, we need you.'"
