Columbia, Mo. - The Missouri men's cross country team heads north Saturday to compete in the Roy Griak Invitational in St. Paul, Minn. The meet kicks off the demanding part of the team's schedule this season. Runners Max Storms, Michael Pandolfo and Dan Quigley will all make their season debuts this Saturday after being held out of the Missouri Cross Country Challenge two weeks ago.
The Men's Gold Competition 8k, which features 17 Division I teams including Mizzou, takes place at 12:10 p.m. Saturday. The men look to improve upon last year's 11th place finish.
The women team's next meet is Saturday, Oct. 3, when they run in the Great Louisville XC Classic in Louisville, Ken.
