Heavy rain and thunderstorms that are expected to hit Springfield, Mo. this afternoon and evening have caused the cancellation of tonight's Missouri vs. Missouri State baseball game at Hammons Field. It is the first game that the Tigers have had cancelled this season.

Mizzou (25-21, 11-10 Big 12) will travel to Lincoln, Neb. this weekend to take on Nebraska in a three-game series set to get underway at 6 p.m. on Friday.
