Mizzou Caravan To Stop In Springfield, April 21st

Columbia, Mo. -

The University of Missouri Department of Athletics and the Tiger Scholarship Fund invites MU alumni, fans and friends to meet with Head Football Coach Gary Pinkel, Director of Athletics Mike Alden, and other Tiger coaches, administrators and student-athletes when the Mizzou Caravan stops in Springfield, Mo., Tues., April 21st.

 

      Tiger Athletics will sponsor a dinner and “Tiger Talk” reception that evening at Rival's Sports Bar, located at 3662 S. Glenstone in Springfield.  A social hour will begin at 6:00 p.m., when fans can mingle with the Caravan party and order food and drinks off the menu, with the program starting up at 7:00 p.m.  There is no cost to attend the event. 

 

      Pinkel will be on hand to discuss the spring football season and give a look ahead to the much-anticipated 2009 season, and others will discuss various topics concerning Tiger Athletics.  Men's basketball standout J.T. Tiller, along with football standout Danario Alexander, will be on hand for comments and autographs as well.  The event will be emceed by Mike Kelly, known as the Voice of the Tigers.

 

      Mizzou fans can pick up Tiger football ticket information at the event.
