Hey Tiger Fans! This past week was an exciting one for Tiger gymnastics! On Saturday we competed at Eastern Michigan, along with Central Michigan and Kent State. Even though we were in a gym that we were not used to, we were able to pull out a great performance.

For the first time this season we started out the meet on beam. Everyone in the lineup put up solid routines to get us going and Shi anchored the event with one of the best routines of the season! Next we went to floor, where we continued our success with great performances. Alex started us off with a huge 9.825! We kept the momentum going and A capped off the event with a solid 9.9 routine! Vault was next and we continued to put up big scores. D led off for us with a beautiful handspring pike. That was followed up with great vaults by Becky, Alex, A, and Shi to give us a score of 49.025. Vault put us in a great position for our final rotation. Everyone in the lineup contributed to an excellent bar performance. It was easy to see that all the hard work and attention to detail we have been working on is paying off. It was a great way to close out the meet!

This Friday we will be hosting Oregon State for our senior night at 6:30 p.m.! I hope to see everyone there! GO TIGERS!!!
