COLUMBIA, Mo. - With the impending showdown with Kansas looming in Lawrence on Sunday, some are drawing comparisons to the classic #1 vs. #2 matchup of the two teams on Feb. 13, 1990.

Although the two teams aren't ranked as the top two in the country, as they were 19 years ago when #2 Mizzou escaped Lawrence with a 77-71 win over the top-ranked Jayhawks, we still felt an appetizer was necessary for the weekend.
