Feb. 26, 2009

Well Tiger Fans, we are quickly approaching mid-season and things are looking very bright for us. We are currently ranked 13th in the nation and have just put together two very solid team scores at the Beauty and the Beast meet in our hometown and a quad meet down in Oklahoma. Even though we did not beat OU (only 1.5 tenths away from winning), we put up a good fight and were able to put up some great routines and an overall good team score. We are looking forward to competing against Cal State Fullerton, Michigan State, and Western Michigan this weekend in one of our biggest competitions of the season, the Cat Classic. So please come out and support us on Friday night, Feb. 27 in the Hearnes Center, starting at 6:30 pm. We are continuing to work really hard in the gym, polishing and perfecting the routines that we know we are capable of doing. We have become a very efficient, goal-oriented, cohesive and hard working team. As a senior it is wonderful to finally see that reflected in our competition scores. The hard work we have done is paying off but we cannot let up now. We must continue to attack and fight like the true Tigers we are. We are confident and hungry to take what is ours. We have our eyes on the prize this year and have every intention of taking it - so other teams, BEWARE! We must look at each meet as an opportunity to attack and give up nothing. If we can do this then no matter what the outcome, we will have NO REGRETS! GO TIGERS!!!!!
