Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've been able to blog and I apologize for that. The past couple weeks have been very interesting for me and the rest of the freshmen. We witnessed a great Missouri win over Cornell at the Hooters bar and grill. By the time the dual was over we had almost every TV in the bar showing wrestling with the whole place getting into the dual. We also watched a heart-wrenching defeat at the hands of Nebraska the very next weekend at the Hearnes Center. The next week was a little cut up during practice, because the starters had to leave a little earlier in the week for their road trip to Oklahoma. We had our last tournament of the year at Missouri Valley College. The starters continued their sweep of both Oklahoma's, while we had many placers at MVC with Nick Hucke claiming the only title. Practice this week has been plane and simple, get the guys ready for Central Michigan and the Beauty and The Beast. We did a lot of two younger guys with one starter subbing back and forth on them. I'm really excited to see how this whole double competition is going to work. Coach Smith said it'slike a great big circus down there, but it should help the guys getting used to things going on around them like at NCAA's. Well everyone, it's about 3:00 and I need to go get a work out in before tonight. I'll see all of you next week and I should have a blog each week for the rest of the season.
