
Englin 10th in NCAA Shot Put Final

DES MOINES, Iowa --Saturday was the final day of the NCAA Track & Field Championships held in Des Moines, Iowa. Mizzou senior Nate Englin finished 10th in the men's shot put with a throw of 57 feet, 9 inches (17.60m). The Missouri men finished the four-day meet in 34th place as a team with 7½ points.
Englin marked his best of the day on his third attempt.
While the collegiate season is official over, a handful of young Tigers will compete next week in the USATF Junior National Championships in Columbus, Ohio. Several current and former Tiger athletes will also compete June 27-July 6 in the USATF Olympic Team Trials in Eugene, Ore.
