Missouri Stands 19th at NCAA Regional

ATHENS, Ga. - The University of Missouri women's golf team shot a team score of 320 on Friday in the second round of the NCAA East Regional in Athens, Ga. The Tigers are in 19th place with a two-round total of 625 heading into Saturday's final round.
Sophomore Julia Potter carded a three-over 75 on Friday and is tied for 14th place in the individual standings with a two-day total of 148.
Redshirt freshman Lindsey Haupt had a second round score of 80 to give her a 36-hole score of 158, which puts her in a tie for 64th place. Sophomore Michelle Morgan has a two-day score of 159 after an 83 on Friday, while senior Madde Augustsson is one shot behind Morgan, as her 82 in round two gives her a 36-hole total of 160. Junior Chelsea Schriewer carded an 83 on Friday and has a two-day score of 164.
Florida took over the team lead, holding a 585 total after a 295 on Friday. Duke, the first round leader, is second with a 588 two-round total. Benedicte Toumpsin of South Carolina leads the individual competition with a six-under-par 138 total after rounds of 68 and 70.
The top eight teams in the field and the top three individual finishers who are not members of the advancing teams will qualify for the NCAA Championships on May 20-23 in Albuquerque, N.M.
The final round is Saturday at the UGA Golf Course in Athens. The Tigers will tee off with the afternoon groups.
