Tigers in Third at Big 12 Women's Golf Championship

STILLWATER, Okla. - The Mizzou women's golf team is in third place after the first round of play at the Big 12 Conference Championship in Stillwater, Okla. The Tigers carded a round of 317 on Friday at Karsten Creek Golf Course.
Oklahoma State leads after shooting a 303 on Friday, followed by Texas A&M (315) and Missouri (317). Texas is four shots behind MU after an opening round 321.
Two Tigers are in the top 10 and three are among the top 15 after day one. Junior Chelsea Schriewer and sophomore Julia Potter are among a group tied for eighth place with rounds of 78 on Friday.
Redshirt freshman Lindsey Haupt is tied for 13th place after shooting an 80 in the first round. Senior Madde Augustsson carded an 81 and is tied for 21st place, while sophomore Michelle Morgan turned in an 82 and is in a tie for 23rd place.
The top three in the individual standings are from Oklahoma State, led by Jaclyn Sweeney, who shot a 74 on Friday.
The second round will be played on Saturday, with the final round scheduled for Sunday.
