Mizzou Athletics Director Mike Alden and the "Voice of the Tigers" Mike Kelly, along with Associate Director of Media Relations Josh Murray, traveled east of Columbia on Thursday as part of MU's Statewide Outreach efforts.

The first stop of the day was at Crane's Country Store in Williamsburg before heading to Montgomery City, where a group of 30-35 Tiger fans hosted the Mizzou staffers for lunch at Dani-Mac's. Brent Speight, Dick and Shirley Arens and Jeff Arens were among those hosting the luncheon. Alden, Kelly and Murray stopped by Montgomery County High School before heading to Warrenton.

The first stop in Warrenton was a visit with Wayne Baker at Warrenton Oil Company, followed by a gathering at Gastorf-Shrumpf Motors, where Rick Gastorf and Mike Wright set up a gathering of about 15 Mizzou supporters.

The final stop in Warrenton was at the Warren County MU Extension Office, where the Tigers had a brief visit with Chris Merritt, who had recently joined the Extension Office.

After driving through Marthasville and Dutzow, the MU trio arrived in Washington where they made a quick stop at John G's before attending a reception hosted by the Mizzou Alumni Association Franklin County Chapter. Alden and Kelly addressed a group of about 50 at the Photojournalism Hall of Fame in Washington to conclude Thursday's Outreach Trip.
