Hey Tiger fans!!! It's been another intense week in the gym, and we're still going strong. I think we're finally starting to fall into a routine with all of the new circuits and conditioning, and I know that everyone's on track to come out of the gates strong this year!

After some tough conditioning in the first couple of weeks of preseason, we're now getting into the routines and more skill-based part of Fig's new workout schedule for this year. We'll continue conditioning at the beginning and end of practice every day, but the level of workout will compliment what we do on the events that day. If it is a high skills week in the gym, then our conditioning will be a little lighter, and vice versa. Even though it's tough, all this hard work will pay off when it comes time to compete. The coaches have said that we're farther along this year than we were last fall, which means that we'll have more time to polish our routines before we walk out on the floor for our first meet.

We've started more routines in the gym this past week, with Friday being the first day for full beam routines. After a couple shaky starts, we all made it through our assignments and we're anxious to see what Amy has planned for us for next week. On floor, we started shotgun tumbling (one pass right after another), and I can't wait for all of our fans to see our new floor routines. They're really coming together! :) A lot of people have started to twist their vaults over the past two weeks, and I can already tell that we're going to have a strong vault lineup this year.

I know we're all really excited for this season, and I'm sure all of our Tiger fans are, too. Stay tuned and thanks for all the support!

Go Tigers!!!!
