The No. 11 Mizzou football team travels to Austin, Texas this weekend for a matchup with No. 1 ranked Texas. The game will kickoff at 7 p.m on Saturday and will air on ABC. Below is some information for the Tigers fans that are heading to Austin for the weekend.
ESPN COLLEGE GAMEDAY - This Saturday, ESPN College Gameday will broadcast live from Austin, Texas. The two-hour show begins at 9 a.m. The Gameday set will be located on the south side of the UT Tower, at the intersection of 21st Street and University. To get to the UT Tower from Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, take 21st Street West to the intersection of 21st and University. The tower will be on the right.
TIGER WALK - Mizzou is taking its traditional "Tiger Walk" on the road. Fans are also encouraged to greet the team as it arrives at the stadium on Saturday at 4:50 p.m. The team buses will park on San Jacinto Blvd. (on the Northwest side of the stadium) and the team will enter the stadium between Gates 7 and 8.
MIZZOU VOLLEYBALL IN AUSTIN ON FRIDAY - Mizzou fans that are in Austin on Friday night can catch the Missouri volleyball team in action against Texas. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m. at Gregory Gym on the UT campus.
MIZZOU ALUMNI ASSOCIATION TAILGATE - The Mizzou Alumni Association will host a Tiger Tailgate prior to the game on Saturday. The tailgate will start at 5 p.m. and will be located at the Rec Center near Darrell K. Royal-Memorial Stadium. Pre-registration for the tailgate is closed, but a limited number of tickets will be available at the door on a first-come-first-served basis. Tickets are $30 for MAA members and guest and $35 for non-members and guests. For more information, call 1-800-372-6822.
WEAR GOLD - Fans are encouraged to wear gold to all games, including the road contests. The Tiger Team Store, located on the North concourse of Memorial Stadium, has plenty of gold-colored merchandise on sale.
