Kansas State avoided the sweep by taking a 4-3 win in 10 innings on Sunday. The Wildcats scored a run in the ninth to tie the game, then pushed the go-ahead run across in the 10th inning.
Junior Steve Gray homered, doubled and drove in two in the finale. Junior Rick Zagone allowed only two runs on five hits in seven innings pitched, but took a no decision.
