Mizzou sophomore Julia Potter shot a 77 in the U.S. Open Local Qualifier at Knollwood Country Club in West Bloomfield, Mich. as was one of nine to advance to the Sectional Qualifier, which will be played June 9 in Chicago for an exemption into the U.S. Women's Open.

Potter's 77 tied with Brittany Johnston of Akron for the best round of the round. After a double bogey to start the round, Potter had just 27 puts and made one birdie in the remainder of the round.

The U.S. Women's Open will be played at Interlachen Country Club in Edina, Minn. June 26-29.
