Columbia, Mo. ¾ The University of Missouri Athletic Department and the Mizzou Alumni Association invites MU alumni, fans and friends to meet with Head Football Coach Gary Pinkel, Head Basketball Coach Mike Anderson, Director of Athletics Mike Alden and other Tiger administrators and coaches, when the Mizzou Caravan stops in St. Joseph, Mo., Thurs., April 24th.
Tiger Athletics and the Mizzou Alumni Association will sponsor a "Tiger Talk" dinner program that evening at the St. Joseph Country Club, at 50 Ridgeland Road, in St. Joseph. Dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a speaking program, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The cost is $25 per person ($20 for Alumni Association members and Tiger Scholarship Fund donors), and includes a dinner and doorprizes.
Pinkel, the 2007 Big 12 Coach of the Year, will recap the 2008 spring football camp, which concludes April 19th with the annual Black & Gold Spring Game. Anderson, who completed his second season as MU's coach, will discuss the future of the basketball program, while Alden and others will be on hand to talk Tiger Athletics in general. The event will be emceed by Mike Kelly, the Voice of the Tigers.
