Columbia, Mo. ¾ The University of Missouri Athletic Department and the MU Alumni Association invites MU alumni, fans and friends to meet with Assistant Football Coach Cornell Ford, Assistant Men's Basketball Coach Matt Zimmerman and other Tiger coaches and administrators when the Mizzou Caravan stops in Des Peres, Mo., Wed., April 30th.
Tiger Athletics and the Mizzou Alumni Association will sponsor a reception and "Tiger Talk" that evening at Greenbrier Hills Country Club in Des Peres. The event will begin at 7 p.m. with a formal speaking program. There is no cost for the event, which and includes free appetizers and door prizes, with a cash bar also available.
Ford, who is Mizzou's primary recruiter in the St. Louis area, will be on hand to discuss the recently-completed spring football season and look ahead to the fall as the Tigers will enter the 2008 season as one of the top-ranked teams in the country. Zimmerman will discuss the most recent Tiger basketball season and also give the latest details on the men's program. The event will be emceed by Mike Kelly, known as the Voice of the Tigers.
