Missouri softball Head Coach Ehren Earleywine announced today that nationally known pitching coach Doug Gillis will host two pitching clinics Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 on University Field on the University of Missouri campus.
Session one, a two hour clinic running from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. (CT), Friday, April 25, is limited to the first 20 pitchers to sign up. Session two is a one hour session on Saturday, April 26, with four different start times available, 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Pitchers must provide their own catcher as the major portion of the clinic will involve actual live pitching. Any youth catchers must bring their own equipment. Younger pitchers using a "youth" ball should bring the ball to the clinic.
All ages are allowed. Sign up will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of the clinic. Early registration is required to participte in the clinic. No walk up registration will be accepted.
Gillis is a five time member of Team USA and earned a gold medal at the 2002 Pan American Championships and silver at the 2003 Pan American games. A three-time first team ASA Major All-American, Gillis is a two-time ASA Major national champion and is the lead pitching instructor for the International Softball Congres..
