FIRST PITCH
Coming off a series win over Texas, No. 6 Missouri will host William Woods on Wednesday at Taylor Stadium. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. The Tigers are 25-9 on the season, while William Woods enters with a 19-15 mark.

MU-WWU SERIES HISTORY
Missouri and Williams Woods have met twice before, with the Tigers taking wins in both contests. The first meeting was in 2000, when Mizzou defeated the Owls 15-5. In 2002, the Tigers recorded a victory by a score of 20-4.

MIZZOU MOVES TO SIXTH SPOT IN BASEBALL AMERICA POLL
Mizzou is ranked No. 6 in this week's Baseball America poll, released on Monday. The Tigers climbed to No. 2 in the March 24th poll, its highest ever mark. MU finds itself ranked10th in NCBWA poll. The Tigers are 11th in both the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' poll and the Collegiate Baseball's Top 30.

LAST TIME OUT
Missouri took two-of-three from Texas last weekend and has now won seven of the last nine meetings with UT. In the series opener, Mizzou picked up a 31-12 win over the Longhorns. It was the most runs scored by MU since a 30-0 win over Truman State in 2003. Senior Jacob Priday was 5-for-5 and hit a Big 12 record with four home runs. He set a school record in home runs (four), RBI (nine) and runs scored (six). [More info on this game on page 2]. Missouri continued the offensive onslaught with a 13-2 win on Saturday. Freshman Andrew Thigpen had a career-high four hits, finishing 4-for-5 on the day. Sophomore Kyle Gibson picked up the win in game two, giving up just one run on five hits in seven innings pitched. The Tigers could not finish off the sweep, as Texas salvaged a 9-2 win in Sunday's series finale. Mizzou managed just two runs on a season-low four hits in the final game of the weekend.

This weekend the Tigers begin a string of . nine-straight games away from home, starting with a three-game series at Oklahoma. Game one of the series at OU is set for 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
