Columbia, Mo. - Missouri's two upcoming men's basketball games against the University of Nebraska on Jan. 30 (in Columbia) and Feb. 13 (in Lincoln) will be televised on a tape-delay basis.
Both games will still tip-off at their regularly-scheduled time of 7 p.m.
The tape-delayed broadcast is due to the television rights agreement the Big 12 Conference has with ESPN. The originally-scheduled broadcast time put the game in direct conflict with the Kansas at Kansas State game scheduled that evening on ESPN-Plus. Both of Missouri's contests can still be heard live on the Tiger Radio Network.
Although the contests will be aired on a tape-delayed basis, Tiger fans will have plenty of opportunities to watch the games later that evening. Metro Sports in Kansas City and Fox Sports Midwest throughout the state will broadcast at 8:30 p.m. on both nights, while KZOU will show the contests in Mid-Missouri immediately following the originally-scheduled ESPN-Plus telecast.
All other remaining Mizzou regular season games will be televised live.
